One-click access to every key section of your site
The TranslaStars AppsBar is a sleek icon bar that gives your visitors one-click access to your key sections: Audio, Courses, Jobs, News, Promos, Community and more. It was built by TranslaStars and has been running in production since August 2026 (v2.7.0).
It works on any website where you can paste HTML or JavaScript: LearnWorlds, WordPress, Shopify, plain HTML, Vercel, anything.
The app list is managed remotely
Unlike a hard-coded navigation bar, the AppsBar loads its app list from a public JSON API. You change the apps from your browser and the entire site updates instantly. No page edits, no redeploys.
What you get
- Horizontal row of app icons: all icons at 22px height, crisp on retina displays.
- Two item types: a
link(icon + label) or alogo(brand logo, multi-line label supported). - Own admin panel (appsbar-admin.html): add, remove, reorder and enable or disable apps from the browser. Changes apply to all visitors instantly.
- Font & icon scale per site (v2.7.0): set

?app=. The snippet detects the current site automatically. - Close button + floating restore (v2.4.8): visitors can close the bar; a floating button brings it back.
- LearnWorlds hardening: fixed positioning that survives overflow-x hidden, correct z-index under the LearnWorlds topbar, and skips page wrappers to find the right insertion point.
- Public JSON API (CORS enabled) with a built-in fallback default set if the API fails.
- Fully stylable: colors, hover effects, max width and sticky or fixed positioning via a JS config object.
