1. About the Store

TranslaStars Skills Store (the "Store") is a marketplace operated by TranslaStars where creators can publish digital products (skills, guides, prompts, solutions, templates and language resources) and buyers can purchase and download them.

By accessing or using the Store you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Store.

3. Pricing and Payments

  1. The full price set by the Creator goes to the Creator, through the Store wallet system described in section 5.
  2. A platform fee is added to the Creator's price at checkout. The current rate is shown throughout the Store (How it works page and product pages). This fee covers payment processing costs (including Stripe fees) and the operating costs of the Store. The Buyer pays the Creator's price plus the platform fee.
  3. All prices are shown in EUR. Applicable taxes, if any, are added at checkout where required by law.
  4. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. TranslaStars never stores card details.
  5. Free products (price 0 EUR) are available without payment.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

  1. Digital products are delivered immediately after purchase.
  2. 14-day EU right of withdrawal: under applicable consumer law, buyers may request a refund within 14 days of purchase IF the product has not been downloaded or accessed. Once a digital product has been downloaded, it is considered delivered and the right of withdrawal is lost (standard practice for digital goods).
  3. Defective or misdescribed products: if a product is defective, incomplete, or does not match its description, the buyer may report it through the Contact Us form within 14 days. After review, TranslaStars may issue a full or partial refund at its discretion.
  4. Refunds are processed to the original payment method. The Creator's payout for refunded purchases is reversed or deducted from future payouts.

5. Creator Wallet and Payouts (Escrow Period)

  1. Each Creator has a wallet on the Store showing their earnings in EUR.
  2. Escrow period: when a sale is completed, the Creator's price (100% of the price they set) is credited to their wallet as pending. The amount becomes available 14 days after the purchase, provided no refund or complaint was received for that sale.
  3. Withdrawals: Creators can request a withdrawal of their available balance (minimum 20 EUR). TranslaStars processes withdrawal requests by bank transfer; requests are typically processed within 5-10 business days.
  4. Refunds are deducted from the Creator's wallet: from the pending amount if still in escrow, or from available/future earnings if the amount was already released.
  5. No commission: TranslaStars does not take a percentage of the Creator's price. The platform fee is charged to the Buyer and covers payment processing and operating costs.

6. Creator Obligations

  1. Creators must register with a valid account and provide accurate information.
  2. Creators confirm they own the rights to everything they publish, including files, images and text, and that the product does not infringe third-party rights.
  3. Creators must not publish: illegal content, malware, content that infringes copyright or trademarks, offensive material, or content that violates applicable law.
  4. Creators are responsible for the quality, accuracy and support of their products. TranslaStars may remove any product that violates these Terms or receives valid complaints.

7. Buyer Obligations

  1. Buyers must provide a valid email address for delivery and receipts.
  2. Digital products are licensed for the Buyer's use as described on each product page. Redistribution, resale or sharing of purchased products is prohibited unless the product license states otherwise.
  3. Buyers may review products they have purchased. Reviews must be honest and must not contain offensive or defamatory content.

8. Reviews and Ratings

  1. Only verified buyers (purchasers of the product) may leave a review.
  2. TranslaStars may remove reviews that violate these Terms.
  3. Reviews reflect the opinion of the reviewer, not of TranslaStars.

9. Intellectual Property

  1. Each product remains the intellectual property of its Creator.
  2. TranslaStars owns the Store platform, its design, code and branding.
  3. By publishing a product, the Creator grants TranslaStars a non-exclusive license to display, market and process the product for the purpose of operating the Store.

10. Contact Us and Incident Reporting

  1. Buyers and Creators can report incidents (defective products, copyright complaints, disputes, abusive content) through the Contact Us form on the Store or by emailing info@translastars.com.
  2. TranslaStars will review reports and may: remove content, suspend accounts, issue refunds, or take other appropriate action.
  3. Copyright holders can submit a takedown notice with proof of ownership; valid notices are acted on promptly.

11. Limitation of Liability

  1. The Store is provided "as is". TranslaStars does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
  2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TranslaStars is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the Store or any product purchased on it.
  3. Creators are solely responsible for the content and performance of their products.
  4. Wallet balances are an accounting record of amounts owed to Creators; TranslaStars is not a bank and wallet funds are not deposits. Withdrawal payments depend on TranslaStars receiving the corresponding funds from payment processors.

12. Account Suspension

TranslaStars may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or harm other users or the platform.

13. Changes to These Terms

TranslaStars may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Store. Continued use of the Store after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of Spain (Estepona, Málaga) where permitted by law.
